Old Bath Glove Factory to Be Transformed into a Cultural Hub
A glove factory in Holt is about to be transformed into a cultural hub and innovative workspace by Nick Kirkham and Alix Paver, that would cater to a number of smaller businesses in and around mid Wiltshire and Bath.
The workspace will be designed specifically for smaller business and will provide them with meeting rooms, event spaces, a modern looking shared offices, a studio, and a meeting room spread in an area of 8,000 sq ft.
Kirkham is a celebrated designer who is credited with the design of a number of modern businesses and co-working spaces in collaboration with his brother. His designs include two of the largest workspace complexes of the city, Great Western Studios and Westbourne Studios. These studios together house more than 400 innovative brains.
Paver, on the other hand, is a design graduate of
Paver and Kirkham were looking for a spectacular location for their new venture, and wanted to add special effects to the building that provides excellent transportation links to the entire city. They decided on the old glove factory because it has a strategic location and a rich heritage.
